Funkwerk offers a variety of solutions for modern mobile communication systems. These range from classic analogue radio systems, DMR and GSM-R to modern 4G and 5G solutions, including the upcoming european standard FRMCS. The focus is on interoperational railway communication. GSM-R technology is the current backbone. Funkwerk offers market-leading solutions with the futureproof (5G, FRMCS) modular train radio system MESA® and the GSM-R handheld focX®2. MESA all:nexo®
Our MESA all:nexo solution is used for voice and data transmission in public and private 5G networks. The radio module is connected directly to the vehicle's electrical system and operated via the supplied touchscreen control unit.
